wear的用法

wear/dress/puton"穿,戴"的意思,但各自的用法不同。wear用来表示"穿着,戴着"的状态,用现在进行时,表示目前暂时情况。例如:Childrenlikewearingnewclothes.孩子们喜欢穿新衣服。dress用来表示"穿,戴"时,既可指动作,又可指状态,作及物动词用时,直接对象是人(宾语通常是人称代词或反身代词),而不是所穿的衣服;作不及物动词时,不表示穿什么衣服。例如:It'sverycoldtoday.Pleaseputonyourcoat.今天很冷,请穿上你的外套。

01agree with① 同意;赞同:I quite agree with him on the sports. 我非常同意他在运动方面的观点。

② 与…相符;与…一致:His words do not agree with his actions. 他言行不一致。

③ [常用于否定句] (食物等) 适合:Too much meat doesn’t agree with her. 她不宜吃太多肉。

02hold on① 抓着…不放;坚持:She held on to me tightly. 她紧紧地抓住我。

I will hold on to my dream and never give it up. 我要坚持自己的梦想,永不放弃。

03make up ① [不用于进行时] 组成;构成:In some languages, 100 words make up half of all words used in daily conversations. 在一些语言中,100个词就构成了一半的日常会话用语。

② 编写;编造:At your first meeting you should make up a rule book. 在第一次会议上,你要编写出一个规章手册。

③ 为…化妆:They made him up as an old man for the last act of the play. 在演这出戏的最后一幕时,他们把他打扮成一个老头。

35give up 放弃;让:She decided to give up her job and start a coffee bar. 她决定辞去工作,开一家咖啡馆。

36lead to 致使;导致:A lack of confidence can lead to a lot of suffering. 缺乏自信会导致很多痛苦。

Good habits always lead to high efficiency, while bad ones bring the opposite. 好习惯总是会带来高效率,而坏习惯则相反。

② 去 (某处) 接人 / 物:I’ll call for you at your home. 我会到你家接你。

53come down to 归结为;传到…手里:Their quarrel comes down to money. 他们吵架说到底是因为钱。
